In designing this waterfall painting, I sought to achieve a perfect balance between force and fluidity, between the inertia of rock and the momentum of water. The image rests on subtle symmetry, where each element finds its place in a harmonious composition. The waterfall, though central, does not dominate the scene: it dialogues with the surrounding rock walls, creating an impression of unity and complementarity. The positioning of stone blocks and the distribution of shadows and light reinforce this sensation of balance. Dark tones of the vertical columns frame the clarity of water, highlighting its brilliance and movement. This opposition between darkness and light creates immersive depth, giving the impression that the waterfall springs from a secret abyss to fully offer itself to daylight.
