One of the most fascinating elements in this cheese painting is its perfect balance between symmetry and spontaneity. I composed this work respecting a certain visual harmony, where each element naturally finds its place without ever giving an impression of rigidity. The stacking of cheeses, though seemingly random, responds to a logic of balance, where volumes compensate for and respond to each other. The eye is immediately drawn to the center of the painting, where the largest wheel of cheese acts as a visual anchor point. From there, the gaze explores different textures, marked shadows, play of light that highlights each surface. The contrast between the softness of creamy pastes and the roughness of aged rinds creates an enchanting visual effect, where the material seems to vibrate almost under the lighting. This balance is further reinforced by color choices: warm and organic tones that oppose the dark background, creating a powerful contrast.
