This Painting Teckel presents a striking portrait with vivid and contrasting colors. The animal wears a dark green beret and round turquoise glasses giving it the look of a Parisian intellectual. Its fur harmoniously blends shades of copper orange, deep blacks and pearlescent whites. The background consists of colored blocks alternating turquoise, mustard yellow and aquamarine, creating a modern geometric composition. The pictorial technique reveals expressive brushstrokes and impasto that give relief and texture to the whole. The mischievous expression of the dog, with its pink tongue slightly sticking out, brings a playful dimension to this remarkably balanced contemporary work.
