This work is composed of wide, sinuous waves that traverse the canvas diagonally. The upper left section displays a deep brick red , marked with fine criss-cross lines reminiscent of cracked earth texture. This warm tone extends into a softer burnt orangearea, which softens the visual transition. The central curve, drawn in ivory and off-white, runs through the entire composition with a grainy texture reminiscent of rock or raw plaster.
