A ram's head emerges from a whirlwind of pictorial matter, between warm gold and pearly white. The canvas exudes a powerful and serene presence, as if frozen in a breath of movement.
The composition revolves around a horned animal's head painted frontally, slightly turned. The curled horns dominate the canvas, sculpted by thick, striated touches that alternate between white, grey and gold. Around the face, painted knife volutes unfold like flames or waves, creating an effect of movement and dense matter. The background, almost immaculate, leaves all the space for this pictorial deployment. Golden splashes and silver punctuate the whole, adding a shimmering dimension. The animal's gaze, dark and precise, contrasts with the abstract texture of the rest of the work. The whole evokes a contemporary style, between animal representation and free abstract gesture.
