An orange sunrise bathes the tiled roofs of the village, while the turquoise bay turquoise stretches out into the distance, dotted with sailboats. This painting captures the Mediterranean soul méditerranéenne of Saint-Tropez with an almost nostalgic softness, between a memory of travel and a painted postcard.
The composition is arranged from above on a village with terracotta roofs terracotta clustered together, dominated by a bell tower with a visible clock. In the background, a bay of turquoise blue bleu turquoise welcomes sailboats and white yachts, surrounded by bluish hills that fade into the morning mist. An orange sun orangé appears in the upper left corner, half-hidden by distant reliefs. On the right, a parasol pine with gnarled branches, treated in touches of olive green vert olive and ochre, frames the scene with vigor. The pictorial treatment, close to watercolor and sketched drawing, reveals intentional runs and an aged beige background evoking a retro travel poster. The contrasts between the warm tones of the village and the cold blue of the sea create a soothing visual tension, typical of the French Riviera panoramas.

The parasol pine, painted dark green and ochre on the right side, frames the composition and guides the eye towards the terracotta bell tower then towards the turquoise bay.
