Three koi carp glide slowly beneath lily pads, in a pond where time seems suspended. Their bright orange scales contrast with the depth of a mysterious emerald green . A scene that invites contemplation and slowing down.
Three koi carp occupy the foreground, their bodies marked with large orange and white patches standing out clearly against a dense aquatic background. The water is painted in shades of emerald green and dark turquoise, creating an almost abyssal depth. Lily pads light green and ochre float in the background, bringing a bright counterpoint to the cold palette of the water. The pictorial style recalls the Impressionist touch: the brushstrokes are visible, thick in places, giving relief to the fins and scales. The composition arranges the fish diagonally, guiding the eye from corner to corner of the wall art. Subtle reflections on the water suggest filtered light, like that of a shaded garden. The whole exudes a chromatic harmony between warm and cold, typical of traditional Japanese pond scenes.
