The alpaca occupies the entire frame, its large ears standing out against a background composed of two blocks of clear color: a mustard yellow in the upper part and a deep red in the lower part. The fur, treated with thick strokes of palette knife painting, gives a sculptural texture to the white fur, speckled with beige and ochre nuances.
