A street bathed in golden light, shutters wide open onto summer, and that southern charm typical of Aix-en-Provence which invites itself into your home. This painting captures the soul of a Provençal facade as if suspended in time.
The composition is organized in ascending perspective, revealing several floors of a facade ochre and terracotta pierced with windows with slate blue shutters, some slightly open, others closed against the stone. Black wrought iron balconies, adorned with delicate floral motifs, punctuate the wall with their worked silhouette. In the background stands a bell tower topped with a golden dome, framed by dark cypresses and a luminous rose window evoking a setting sun. The graphic treatment combines patinated textures and color blocks, giving it an almost retro poster feel. The contrasts between the warm orange of the stone and the cold blue of the shutters structure the whole with balance. A black iron lamppost and golden plant motifs in the background complete this urban scene imbued with Provençal nostalgia.

Yes, this ocher facade painting incorporates the typical architectural codes of the narrow streets of Aix-en-Provence: blue shutters, wrought iron balconies, and a bell tower in the background. The terracotta and anthracite palette recalls the stones heated by the Provençal sun. It retains the spirit of the old buildings in the historic center, with their weathered facades and ornamental details inherited from another time.
This ocher building painting naturally finds its place in an entrance hall or a living room bathed in natural light. The terracotta and slate blue tones warm up slightly cold spaces, while the vertical composition is perfect for a narrow hallway. In a dining room, it creates a southern ambiance conducive to shared meals and lively discussions.
The slate blue shutters of this golden facade painting pair well with terracotta or ocher cushions, creating a harmonious chromatic echo. A natural fiber rug and brass lighting accentuate the Mediterranean dimension of the whole ensemble. It is advisable to avoid bright colors that would compete with the richness already present in this facade painting.
This Provençal bell tower painting seduces anyone attached to the urban landscapes of southern France, through its ability to capture the golden light of evening on the ocher stone. The bell tower topped with a golden rose evokes the local religious heritage, while the flowered balconies add a touch of everyday life. An ideal gift for those who dream of sunny alleyways.
This wrought iron balcony painting goes well with raw wood or rattan furniture, in the spirit of Provençal country houses. The anthracite patinated finishes of the railings find an echo in a matte black metal coffee table. The orange and pastel blue tones of the facade bring warmth and character to a rustic or refined contemporary interior.
