This portrait features a Greyhound in profile in a modern composition that is striking. The fur is rendered with a palette of nuanced blues and bluish grays, creating plays of light and shadow that sculpt the volumes with finesse. Touches of creamy white illuminate the chest and delicate muzzle of the animal. The background is composed of circular geometric shapes in shades of bright orange, coral red and petrol blue, creating a dynamic contrast with the realism of the subject. The long hairs of the coat float gracefully, suggesting the natural movement of this elegant breed. The amber eye of the Greyhound captures the light, bringing emotional intensity to the portrait. This pictorial technique skillfully blends detailed realism and contemporary geometric abstraction.

Absolutely, this work skillfully blends animal realism and geometric abstraction. The colorful circular shapes in the background create a striking contrast with the detailed rendering of the fur. This contemporary approach will appeal to collectors who appreciate figurative art revisited with modern graphic codes, offering a unique artistic vision of the noble lévrier.
The artist has chosen a deliberately stylized color palette, using shades of blue-gray to sculpt the volumes of the fur. This pictorial technique gives the portrait a sculptural dimension, enhancing the animal's natural nobility. The bluish reflections create a perfect harmony with the colored geometric circles, unifying the entire composition in a sought-after chromatic balance.
This painting will find its ideal place in a living room with white or pearl gray walls, where touches of orange can dialogue with cushions or a throw in the same tones. A contemporary office or a spacious entrance would also be perfectly suitable. The elegance of the subject and the modernity of the treatment make it a centerpiece that structures and dynamizes the space with refinement.
The chosen profile beautifully highlights the aristocratic silhouette and the proud head carriage characteristic of these racing dogs. The artist has captured the contemplative expression and the delicacy of the features, notably the delicacy of the elongated muzzle and the lively eye. The floating hairs suggest movement and natural grace, creating a representation faithful to the proverbial elegance of this noble breed.
These geometric elements create a remarkable visual dynamism, avoiding the pitfall of the classic animal portrait. The bright orange brings a warm energy that contrasts with the serenity of the subject, while the blue-green tones harmoniously extend the nuances of the fur. This modern composition transforms a simple portrait into a true decorative work, capable of integrating into demanding contemporary interiors.
