The composition adopts a plunging perspective, almost satellite, on a firefighter intervention. Six red trucks aligned diagonally project long jets of white water towards a building with glass facades. The floor, treated in deep anthracite grey , contrasts strongly with the trails of water painted in wide white and light grey impasto. A few touches of gold yellow pierce the dark structure of the building, evoking reflections or flashes of light. The pictorial style, gestural and textured, recalls spatula painting where each stroke of matter remains visible.
