A man raises his glass, black glasses perched on his nose, in a gesture full ofconfidence. The light catches the gold of the liquid and freezes a moment of simple pleasure. This painting captures an intense scene, between elegance and masculine casualness.
The visual focuses on the face and hands of a man wearing reflective black glasses . Painted with a palette knife, the canvas displays a thick and textured material, typical of an expressive pictorial technique. The gold of the beer glass contrasts with the ochre skin tones and the anthracite touches of the background. Splashes of white light highlight the movement of the liquid that spills slightly from the glass. The white shirt provides a clear note that balances the whole. The gaze, hidden behind the dark glasses, reinforces the mystery and intensity of the scene. The whole exudes a raw, almost cinematic energy.
