A piercing blue gaze emerges from the beige textured background, capturing the moment this penguin fixes the observer. Its bright orange beak contrasts with the deep black surrounding it, offering a presence that is both animal and graphic.
This penguin occupies the entire frame, its deep black plumage spreading in wide, gestural strokes. The intense blue eyes pierce the composition with striking clarity, surrounded by white lines that structure the face. The orange beak brings a touch of warm color to the center of the work. The background, treated in beige and textured brown, evokes watercolor splashes, with dark spots and white splashes reminiscent of snow or light. The wings extend into dynamic, almost abstract black trails, reinforcing the sense of movement. The contrast between the pure white of the chest and the intense black of the head gives remarkable depth to the whole.
