The composition is organized around wide violet and prune veins that cross a deep anthracitebackground. Organic cells bordered with white evoke frozen foam or the texture of a semi-precious stone. Golden particles, scattered irregularly, sparkle throughout the whole and recall mineral flakes embedded in the rock. The contrast between the dark areas and the light lines accentuates the depth of the painting, giving a sense of frozen movement. The technique used recalls the art of fluid pouring, where colors blend naturally without ever being completely confused. Fine cracks reminiscent of the surface of an old marble can also be seen.
